How much would you be out of pocket if you had knee replacement surgery?

With my primary policy, the answer is $250, and my monthly premium is about half of what BCBS would charge me.

But that's not all. I also have the best supplemental indemnity plan ever invented (as of 10/23/2024), which paid me $5,000 for the facility fee and even more than that for the other charges related to this surgery.
